Solidarity with refugees in Greece | Jan 25

Dear Friends,
Please join us in this meeting outside the:
Greek Embassy: Friday 25th January 2013. 10am-12pm.
1A Holland Park Road, London, W11 3TP, United Kingdom
Nearest Tube Station: Holland Park Station
Buses: 31, 94, 148, 228
Please have a look at some Video Clips showing how refugees suffer in Greece:

The situation for migrants and refugees in Greece is terrible. People face hazardous journeys into Europe, then long periods in awful conditions of detention, including women and children. Once they are released very few people have access to asylum systems and they are literally destitute, often living on the streets. Their situation is made worse by the rise in racist and xenophobic attacks on migrants, who are seen as an additional burden at a difficult time.
The aim of this meeting is: To ask the Greek government to take action and do more to help migrants and refugees in Greece and to protect their human rights!
If you can’t attend but would like to sign the petition we are presenting the Greek Embassy, you can find the petition here:

Hope to see you on Friday at 10am.
